Our Social Impact
The First Responders Children’s Foundation is a small national nonprofit foundation created in 2002 under the name the National Law Enforcement & Firefighter Children’s Foundation. In addition to local police and fire departments, the First Responders Children’s Foundation works quietly behind the scenes with families and agencies across the country including the DEA, FBI, Homeland Security, Secret Service, Forest Service, Border Patrol, Court Officers EMS and all other forms of first responders. We keenly aware that the injury or loss of a parent can last a lifetime. Our first responders rely on organizations like ours to have their backs should tragedy strike. They can count on us to put their families first in times of need – just as they put all of us first every time they go out on a call.
